A different kind of newsletter

Dear readers,

It’s a different kind of newsletter this week.

Today is my last day as Head of Features at L’Orient Today.

For almost a year and a half, I’ve written you these weekly newsletters with the help of our talented editorial team and carefully selected articles to convey all that has happened in this beautiful yet infuriating country and region.

Throughout the past year and a half, we developed video content, illustration and multimedia, we brought you more solution-oriented stories, delved into the impact of stray bullets, construction malpractices and Ozempic, and highlighted previously untold stories of different communities in Lebanon.

Our objective has always been and will remain to show you the country as it truly is — the good, the bad and the ugly — in the hopes that you care as much as we do, and advocate for needed change, in your unique way.

In these stressful and uncertain times, I hope, dear readers, that you will remain as attached to Lebanon, and to this publication, as we are.
