Jo-Wilfried Tsonga reste le premier Français, à la cinquième place, devant l’Espagnol David Ferrer. Ce dernier cède un peu de terrain par rapport à Tsonga, après son élimination au 2e tour à Monte-Carlo, où il avait été finaliste en 2011.
