Le gouverneur de la Banque du Liban Riad Salamé. Mohamed Azakir/Archives Reuters
De loin, on dirait un mauvais vaudeville. Avec un scénario un brin caricatural : le gouverneur de la banque centrale d’un pays en faillite financière qui fuit la justice, sur fond de bisbilles entre plusieurs services sécuritaires. Mais quand...Who wants to take out Riad Salameh?...

It is perfectly legitimate to replace Mr. Salame, the architect of the Ponzi scheme accused of, or investigated for, in many European countries, financial crimes and money laundering. We the people no longer trust that Mr. Salame is an honest broker acting in our best interests while negotiating with the IMF on our behalf to resolve a financial crisis he has helped create. He should be removed from his positions until all investigations into alleged improprieties and dereliction of duty have been resolved.
