The question of how Lebanese expatriates will vote in the forthcoming legislative elections has become the focus of a parliamentary standoff.
On one side are supporters of an amendment to the current electoral law that would allow expatriates to vote from abroad in the constituencies where they are registered.
On the other side are those advocating for the implementation of the law's provision allocating six parliamentary seats to the diaspora.
