L’Orient Today went to the streets of Furn Al-Chubbak and Badaro, in Beirut, to ask people what effects the war has had on their daily lives.

The ongoing war between Israel and Hezbollah on Lebanon's southern border, has so far killed more than 378 people. This number includes members and fighters of Hezbollah, Amal, and other political factions. It also includes civilians, children, paramedics, and journalists.

More than 90,000 people have been displaced from southern Lebanon since October 8, 2023 according to UNOCHA.
